Espoo is taking a bold step toward smarter and more sustainable urban mobility with the launch of the Espoo AI in Mobility Challenge. Organised by Finnish AI Region (FAIR EDIH), Espoo Mobility Lab, and Nokia Espoo Innovation Garage, this initiative invites startups and SMEs to develop AI-powered solutions that reduce traffic emissions and help Espoo reach carbon neutrality by 2030.
Why participate?
🔹 Access to expert mentoring and support from FAIR EDIH and Nokia Espoo Innovation Garage.
🔹 The chance to implement a free AI Proof-of-Concept (AI POC) with FAIR services.
🔹 A €10,000 funding award for the best solution to pilot in a real urban setting.
An online info session will be held on April 3rd (13:00–14:00, Teams) for interested participants to learn more and ask questions. Applications are open until April 21, 2025.
