MOBILITIES FOR EU partner EMT attended the Eurocities Mobility Forum 2026, held in Rome from 18 to 20 March, reinforcing its role in advancing sustainable and innovative urban mobility across Europe.
During the forum, EMT participated in the workshop “Stakeholder engagement for data-based inclusive mobility planning”, where cities including Antwerp, Florence and Gothenburg exchanged experiences on using data and citizen participation to improve mobility systems.
Representing EMT, Sergio Fernández Balaguer highlighted the organisation’s work within MOBILITIES FOR EU, including the development of a data lake and the organisation of stakeholder workshops to support more inclusive, data-driven decision-making.
EMT also joined a poster session on autonomous buses, presenting its latest developments, challenges and future plans in automated public transport.
With its active participation, EMT continues to strengthen its position as a key player in Europe’s evolving mobility landscape while contributing to innovative solutions through MOBILITIES FOR EU.
