On November 26th, Álvaro Rodríguez López de Guereña (EMT) took part in the Annual POLIS Conference 2025 in Utrecht, to share EMT Madrid’s involvement in MOBILITIES FOR EU and progress towards a zero-emission fleet.
POLIS Network is a European network of cities and regions that promotes innovation in sustainable urban transport. Its mission is to facilitate cooperation among various stakeholders in order to develop and implement mobility solutions that meet environmental, social, economic, and safety criteria. The network provides a space for exchanging experiences, best practices, and technical knowledge, supporting its members in areas such as transport policy development, technology integration, urban planning, traffic management, road safety, air quality, accessibility, and more.
Both POLIS and Mobilities for EU share common strategic objectives: sustainable urban mobility, emissions reduction, the transition toward smarter cities, and the incorporation of technological innovation in transport. This places them within the same conceptual framework of the European agenda for “cities of the future.”
The conference was an opportunity for successful exchanges and MOBILITIES FOR EU is proud to support networks like POLIS that improve urban and regional mobility.
