From May 6–8, 2025, the city of Vilnius—recognized as the European Green Capital—welcomed participants to the fourth Cities Mission Conference, held under the theme “Harnessing City Successes: Advancing Climate Action for 2030.” This high-level event gathered more than 100 Mission Cities, representatives from EU institutions, and leading innovators to share achievements and accelerate the journey toward climate neutrality.

As part of the European initiative to create 100 Climate-Neutral and Smart Cities by 2030, MOBILITIES FOR EU, in collaboration with our sister project metaCCAZE, actively contributed to the dialogue. Together, we co-hosted a joint stand within the Urban Mobility Cluster, a vibrant meeting point for discussing real-world strategies to decarbonise city transport systems.

Our shared space became a catalyst for connecting with urban leaders, decision-makers, and technology pioneers. Through dynamic exchanges, we highlighted practical solutions and addressed the challenges cities face in transforming mobility infrastructures.

A key highlight was our joint Coffee Talk session, which fostered valuable cross-project learning and sparked insightful discussions with visitors eager to explore new approaches to sustainable mobility.

MOBILITIES FOR EU remains committed to supporting cities in deploying smart, inclusive, and climate-friendly mobility solutions. Events like this underline the power of collaboration in shaping a more sustainable urban future.
