The Global Public Transport Summit (UITP), held this year in Hamburg, brought together leaders and innovators shaping the future of mobility. Representing the MOBILITIES FOR EU project, Sergio Fernández Balaguer from EMT Madrid participated in the event, where EMT also hosted a stand at the Spanish Pavilion.

Our partners from Fraunhofer IVI also joined the summit, bringing the perspective of the Dresden ecosystem and contributing to ongoing dialogue around sustainable and connected urban mobility in our project’s two lead cities.

The project received a highlight during the ULTIMO workshop, organised by the CCAM Partnership, where MOBILITIES FOR EU was mentioned in the context of overcoming deployment barriers for automated mobility in Europe.

Events like UITP offer valuable opportunities to share insights, strengthen partnerships, and keep urban transport innovation on the global agenda.
