On 28 October, the inspiring spaces of Q4 Olivia Business Center hosted the kick-off of the Urban Lab Gdańsk student competition as part of MOBILITIES FOR EU.

More than 30 students from the University of Gdańsk, Gdańsk University of Technology, and Gdynia Maritime University came together – future experts in architecture, transport, and spatial planning. Despite their different academic backgrounds, they gathered with a similar mission – to co-design better public spaces in Gdańsk’s Oliwa district, exploring how mobility, environment, and quality of life can go hand in hand.

The room was full of energy, ideas, and great conversations – proof that the next generation is ready to shape more liveable cities.

In the coming months, teams will work with mentors and experts to develop their concepts, leading up to a final presentation and awards in spring.

A huge thank-you to all participants and partners – this is how real change begins!
